Blyth Battery

Blyth Battery is now an Official BookCrossing Zone!

What Is BookCrossing?

BookCrossing is the act of releasing books "into the wild" and then following their journeys and the lives they touch.
www.bookcrossing.com is the website that makes it all possible, and was launched on 17 April 2001.

Blyth Battery - Official BookCrossing Zone (OBCZ)

Our BookCrossing zone is now up and running - we welcome public donations of books to keep the shelves stocked. We will release books throughout the year, so if you want to go book hunting or drop books off when the Battery is officially closed, please contact Elanor Johnson, Community Heritage Officer, on 07500 443725 or email her at e.johnson@nect.org.uk to arrange your visit.

Membership

Currently, BookCrossing has over 800,000 members with about 300 new members joining every day. There are also over 5 million books registered at the site.
Membership is free, so all that you need is access to the Internet, a love of books, and a sense of fun!
